**Job Title:** Principal Mechanical SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Mechanical Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading and managing the mechanical engineering aspects of our projects.**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, reviewing, and controlling the progress and processes of mechanical works.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations relating to mechanical services, building construction, and safety.
  • Coordinate the production of individual and combined mechanical drawings.
  • Appraise works/products for compliance with specifications/requirements.
  • Monitor RFA, RFI, shop drawings, technical submissions, and equipment/material procurement/fabrication/delivery status.
  • Develop work programs for testing & commissioning factory tests, individual system test, and statutory inspections.
  • Plan, lead, and monitor progress and performance of subordinates and mechanical subcontractors' site staff.
  • Carry out mechanical technical and site meetings and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide safe and economical methodology for projects and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Conduct QA/QC inspections, manage RE, RTO, and ensure clearing QA/QC inspections meet required quality standards.
  • Provide site inspection, testing, and commissioning records.
  • Evaluate and confirm work done and material supply status by mechanical sub-contractor/NSC vendors for progress payments.
  • Submission of as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
