Job Description

The Crewing Manager is responsible for overseeing the crewing process, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maritime studies or human resources, with experience in coordinating with crewing agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate crew recruitment and selection processes to meet operational demands.
  • Evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, and certifications to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with the Crewing Manager regarding crew selection, approvals, and replacements.
  • Manage crew schedules, ensuring optimal staffing levels to meet operational needs.
  • Ensure all crew members meet statutory and company-mandated training, certification, and medical requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in Maritime Studies, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Relevant maritime certifications (e.g., STCW, MLC) are advantageous.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the Marine Industry.
  • Have experience coordinating with crewing agencies.
  • Knowledge of Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) regulations.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to guide and coordinate with a diverse crew workforce effectively.
