Junior Crewing Officer Job Description

Royal Ocean Marine is seeking a motivated individual to join their client's team as a Junior Crewing Officer. The role involves managing crewing operations for vessels by coordinating crew schedules, processing crew documentation, and ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and company policies.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Candidates should have an ITE/Diploma in Maritime Studies or a related field.
  • Prior crewing or maritime operations education/experience is a plus.

The Junior Crewing Officer will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Communicate and take instructions from assigned supervisor(s).
  • Prepare ship crew employment contracts and joining documents.
  • Update MPA on crew changes via DigitalPORT.
  • Apply for officers' licenses via DigitalPORT.
  • Maintain crew documents database.

This role offers exposure and experience through various office-based assignments based on workload. Suitable for candidates without prior experience or qualification, looking to enter the Ship Management Sector for long-term career development.
