This opportunity calls for an experienced professional to establish and lead a dedicated Conflict of Interest Unit within the Technology Development & Commercialisation team.

The role offers the chance to shape institutional policy and practice while supporting healthcare professionals in their research, innovation, and industry partnerships.

As Lead Governance Professional, you will establish comprehensive frameworks and processes to identify, assess, and manage conflict of interest matters across the institution.

You will provide expert guidance to leadership and staff on disclosures, regulations, and policies, ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.

A key aspect involves building strong relationships with clinicians, researchers, and industry partners to promote awareness and understanding of conflict-of-interest matters, facilitating compliant research and innovation activities.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Laws or Bachelor of Science in a relevant scientific/engineering field, with at least 10 years of experience in research grant administration, contract management, and project management.
  • Knowledge and understanding of contract and corporate law principles.
  • Ability to work effectively, assertively influence key stakeholders, build business relationships, and partnerships.
  • Confident self-starter with initiative, capable of working successfully within a team and with key stakeholders in the ecosystem.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, organisational, and administrative skills.
