Our team is seeking a highly skilled Interest Rate Specialist to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of interest rates.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Dive into central bank monetary policy outlook from economists and craft detailed forecasting models, producing regular forecasts with clear insights for key interest rate benchmarks.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of key US interest rate benchmarks like SOFR, 10 Year US Treasuries yield, and major SG interest rate benchmarks like SORA, 10Y SGS yield.
  • Support various ad hoc interest rate and yield curve related analysis and discussion during market moving events.
  • Maintain strong quantitative modeling background, excel, and Bloomberg skills.
  • Main Skills and Qualifications:
  • Possess strong presentation and communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders on interest rate topics and queries.
  • Collaborate closely with relationship managers and sales teams to provide top-notch support for clients across various business segments.
  • Regular media engagements on TV and Print are required, focusing on key local media and financial outlets.
  • Main Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an interest rate specialist or similar role.
  • A degree in economics or quantitative finance is preferred, along with a strong quantitative modeling background and proficiency in excel and Bloomberg.
  • Ongoing Professional Development:
  • Candidates must possess relevant certifications such as CMFAS M5, CMFAS M6A, and CMFAS M6.
  • University Degree: Economics & Finance
