Job Title: Vessel Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Vessel Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of vessels.

The Vessel Operations Manager will be responsible for conducting internal audits and QHSE inspections on board ships as required, investigating incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions, reviewing and approving risk assessments for various tasks and activities, and assisting departments in the management of change processes and upkeep of documentation.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Master Mariner and possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Navigation/Internationally recognized shipping degree/qualification. A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience as Master on Dry Cargo vessel is also required. Basic knowledge of Energy Management Systems and/or energy conservation methods is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting internal audits and QHSE inspections on board ships as required.

  • Reviewing and approving risk assessments for various tasks and activities.

Requirements:

  • Sailed as Master Mariner.
  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma or equivalent in Navigation/Internationally recognized shipping degree/qualification.
