About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at Monks. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in establishing and driving the operations and people strategy to ensure we attract, retain, and develop great people who are passionate about Monks and its culture as we scale rapidly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders to provide advice, support, and coaching to drive business outcomes and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective HR strategies and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive organizational effectiveness and improve business processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including employee relations, benefits, and compliance.
  • Conduct analysis and provide insights to inform business decisions and drive strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in an HR function or equivalent degree and experience, with at least 2 years of business partnering experience.
  • Proven track record of managing and coaching junior-level employees.
  • Demonstrated success as an HR Generalist or Business Partner supporting 200+ employees.
  • History of developing effective relationships across all levels within organizations and with diverse groups.
  • An articulate leader with excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Hands-on, approachable, and natural leader who inspires and motivates.
  • Adept problem solver with a high level of initiative and sense of personal accountability.
  • Committed to highest ethical standards, data integrity, established process, documentation, and to continuous learning.
  • Proven organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Compassion with a high EQ are proven success factors.
