Lead Biomedical Engineer Position

The Biomedical Engineering Department seeks a seasoned professional to oversee its development and operations. As the department's lead, you will establish and implement effective systems, processes, and policies to deliver high-quality healthcare services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans and timelines to deliver biomedical engineering projects on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with technology partners to design, develop, and implement biomedical systems that meet regulatory standards.
  • Conduct end-user briefings and workshops to communicate project requirements and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with hospital staff, patients, and external partners to promote collaboration and communication.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements:

  • A recognized degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • No less than 8 years of relevant experience in hospital operations, preferably in a healthcare sector.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in design thinking, change management, project management, technology adoption, and process methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders in a dynamic and growing organization.
  • A highly motivated, action-oriented individual with excellent planning, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Able to work under pressure, adapt to change, and manage challenges effectively.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Photoshop, and/or presentation software.
