Job Overview

The upcoming hospital aims to deliver exceptional healthcare services that foster healing centered around each individual.

As a comprehensive hospital, it will offer a wide range of inpatient and outpatient clinical specialties and services, including emergency, acute, and secondary care.

  • You will collaborate with the Development Secretariat and Hospital Planning Committee to establish the Biomedical Engineering department.
  • Your responsibilities will include ensuring that project execution, quality standards align with the established programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-user briefings, define operations requirements for the hospital's biomedical systems, and collaborate with technology partners to design and implement BME systems.
  • Lead the development and review of related policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Requirements

To achieve success in this role, you must possess:

  • A recognised degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in hospital operations, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in design thinking, change management, project management, technology adoption, and process methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders in a dynamic organisation.
