The University Advancement Office (UAO) at Nanyang Technological University supports the institution's giving mission by fostering meaningful relationships and strategic partnerships with philanthropists, alumni, business community partners, and corporations that result in goodwill and philanthropy towards education and research.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize CRM tools to gain accurate insights into donor engagement, giving patterns, and stewardship effectiveness.
- Fund Administration: Work with faculties' administration to ensure utilization of donor funds, ensuring effective allocation and usage according to donor intent. Develop processes for tracking fund usage and reporting outcomes to donors.
- Impact Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the impact of donor-funded projects and initiatives, working with faculties to provide detailed reports and updates to donors.
- Gift Stewardship: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the Major Gifts team in effective donor stewardship. Review and optimize stewardship activities to maintain timely execution and streamlined communication between parties.
Requirements:
- A university degree in a relevant field, preferably with a Master's degree.
- At least 10 years of experience in higher education or philanthropy, preferably in a complex organization.
- Demonstrated success in achieving strategic outcomes in a large environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Proficient in numerical analysis to derive insights that improve strategies, policies, and processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Able to innovate, deal with ambiguity, and exhibit organizational sensitivity with tact and diplomacy.
- Demonstrate awareness of ethical considerations pertaining to advancement work and cultural sensitivities.
