Crewing Operations Manager

The Crewing Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that all vessels within the Company's operation are fully manned in accordance with the Company's standards, national and international requirements, industry guidelines. This includes recruiting, training, and updating ships' crew members to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities:
.1 Ensure vessels are manned and operated in line with Company standards and charterer satisfaction.
.2 Verify vessel manning meets legislative and Company requirements.
.3 Manage Manning Agency Agreement effectively.
.4 Organize daily operations and planning for the department.
.5 Maintain up-to-date position descriptions and develop them for subordinate managers.
.6 Familiarity with relevant rules, regulations, codes, and guidance related to the job assignment, including the Company's Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security policies.
.7 Plan staff promotions, compensation adjustments, and wage reviews.
.8 Conduct performance audits of engaged manning agents.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
.1 Strong knowledge of maritime laws and regulations.
.2 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
.3 Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
.4 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
.5 Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
