Facilities Mechanical Engineer/Senior Engineer/Principal

We are seeking a seasoned Facilities Mechanical Engineer or Senior Engineer to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a mechanical engineering professional with expertise in managing and optimizing complex mechanical systems to make a meaningful impact on our operations.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the continuous supply and performance of key mechanical systems, including Clean Room, Chillers, HVAC, Environmental Protection, Process Utilities Supply, and Building Services.

  • Ensure the continuous operation and optimal performance of key mechanical systems supporting wafer fabrication.
  • Oversee Clean Room, Chillers, HVAC, Environmental Protection Systems, Process Utilities Supply Systems, and Building Services.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves a range of key responsibilities, including:

  • Facilities Support: Ensure the continuous operation and optimal performance of key mechanical systems supporting wafer fabrication.
  • Maintenance Management: Develop and refine preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • System Performance: Establish and monitor performance tracking systems.
  • Procedure Optimization: Formulate and improve operating procedures for efficient system management.
  • Utility Consumption: Monitor utility usage and implement reduction projects.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to relevant standards, legislation, and codes of practice.
  • Training and Documentation: Train colleagues on system operations and maintain accurate documentation for systems and processes.
  • Resource Management: Recommend and manage necessary spares and consumables.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Mechanical Engineering, Building, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or petrochemical industries.
  • Hands-on experience in mechanical system operation and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in managing cleanroom (Class 100 environment) and ACMV systems.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance principles and engineering practices.
