System Optimizer

A System Optimizer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of complex systems by implementing and optimizing various monitoring tools. This position requires the ability to design, implement, and optimize solutions for production environments. Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing and enabling applications for monitoring
• Onboarding new applications and services to the monitoring platforms
• Maintaining monitoring tools including Infrastructure Monitoring
• Continuously tuning and optimizing alert rules to reduce false positives/negatives and improve incident detection
• Coordinating with the Operations team for patching and upgrading of agents across environments
• Proactively monitoring hosts, applications, and infrastructure components to detect and resolve issues early
• Creating and fine-tuning dashboards to provide actionable insights and visibility into system and application health
• Configuring and managing paging and alerting duties to ensure timely responses to incidents
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve monitoring coverage and effectiveness
• Organizing and leading bi-monthly operational meetings related to monitoring activities
• Managing Business As Usual (BAU) tasks along with continuous enhancements to the monitoring solutions
• Developing, maintaining, and updating documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and knowledge base articles

Requirements:

• Ability to independently design, implement, and optimize solutions for at least one production environment
• Min 4-6 yrs of relevant work experience in monitoring Observability
• Independent ownership of monitoring solutions
• Handling both BAU and enhancements & Leading operational meetings
• Deep work in APM/RUM/Infra Monitoring beyond entry-level log analysis
• Prior exposure to alert tuning, dashboards, and monitoring coverage improvements
• Platform admin experience (agent patching, upgrades, integrations)
• Soft skills: can explain monitoring results to non-technical stakeholders
