Senior Mechanical Systems Professional

Job Overview:
The position of a Senior Mechanical Systems Professional involves overseeing the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems in commuter facilities. This includes ensuring the functionality, safety, and compliance with Local Transport Authority (LTA) regulations for equipment such as pumps, fans, lifts, or ventilation equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Regularly inspect and test mechanical assets and components to prevent failures and ensure smooth operation.
- Support both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
- Prepare detailed reports, method statements, and risk assessments for mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with contractors to ensure compliance with equipment standards and specifications.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical system maintenance or installation is necessary.
- Familiarity with LTA requirements, SS531, and relevant local codes is essential.
- Strong coordination skills and knowledge of M&E systems in public infrastructure are highly valued.
