Global Mechanical Design Expert

We seek a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Global Design Standards team. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and drive effectiveness, efficiency, and predictability at scale in the development and adoption of best practice design processes and procedures.

  • Lead and oversee complex mechanical engineering projects from concept to execution, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to mid-level and entry-level mechanical engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation in mechanical systems for data center infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of mechanical systems and upgrades.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in mechanical engineering and apply them to enhance our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee complex mechanical engineering projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve mechanical systems for data center infrastructure.
  • System Development: Contribute to the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems and upgrades, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in mechanical engineering and share knowledge with colleagues to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of leading complex mechanical engineering projects.
  • Strong technical skills and expertise in mechanical systems, thermodynamics, CFD, and heat transfer.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
