About the RoleWe are seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer - Waste to Energy to join our Power & Energy Team in Singapore. You will be responsible for project stages including feasibility studies, design, energy calculations, due diligence, site assessment, and technical consultation.
Responsibilities- Lead the Mechanical/Process team, engineers, and drafters.
- Design and analyze mechanical systems and equipment such as turbines, compressors, pumps, and heat exchangers.
- Perform engineering calculations and simulations to ensure structural integrity and performance.
- Produce layout plans, equipment details, and coordinate with clients and vendors.
- Develop design basis reports, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with electrical and control teams, and support operations and maintenance teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical process engineering within biomass and biofuels industries.
- Proficiency in engineering software like SteamPro, AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and team collaboration skills.
