Are you a skilled Fleet Engineer seeking a challenging role in marine crafts maintenance and repair? Look no further We are seeking a Senior Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to lead and deploy a team of specialists for maintenance and repair work onboard marine crafts.

 

Job Description

As a Senior Fleet Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Organizing and managing a team to carry out maintenance and repair tasks;
  • Updating the management team on daily manpower deployment;
  • Coordinating with the operations team daily for repair and maintenance of marine crafts and providing feedback on readiness;
  • Driving innovation and/or newbuild projects;
  • Reviewing inventory and proposing recommendations for spares;
  • Planning and monitoring the maintenance schedule of all equipment onboard marine crafts;
  • Engaging external stakeholders to carry out scheduled docking and project management;
  • Mentoring, coaching, and motivating the team to achieve targets;
  • Developing plans for learning and development, performance, and discipline;
  • Working with managers to create a conducive working environment;
  • Maintaining proper documentation records of assets, jobs done, purchases, special tools, and manpower utilization;
  • Identifying emerging technologies and its application to operations.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent;
  • Cross-discipline knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering domain;
  • Knowledge of electrical and instrument systems and familiar with electrical schematics diagram and symbols;
  • Leadership qualities and flair for problem-solving and project management skills;
  • Interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships;
  • Good communication skills including written and presentation skills;
  • More experienced candidates may be considered for senior positions.
