Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Expert to implement and maintain storage solutions that meet our clients' requirements.

This is a contract position, requiring a high level of technical expertise in storage environments.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in IT storage environments and a strong background in storage hands-on configuration and data migration.

You will be working with various technologies, including SAN, Ubuntu, CentOS, Windows, and Solaris, as well as disaster recovery and backup solutions.

Your excellent English oral and written communication skills will enable you to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.

  • Implement and maintain storage solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Perform provisioning configuration review and provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Test and verify configuration changes, new patches, or software releases.
  • Participate in change management, including planning, approval, and implementation of authorized change requests.
  • Generate regular operational reports using customer-supplied tools.
  • Attend to and fix vulnerabilities found on storage hardware and software products.
  • Assist with detailed technical planning for future initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver recommendations for customers outlining areas for improvement.
  • Increase customer understanding and knowledge of storage solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT storage environment.
  • Familiarity with storage environment.
  • Good experience in storage hands-on configuration and data migration.
  • Familiarity with technical principles of disaster recovery and backup solutions, and data migration solutions of storage.
  • Experience in daily monitoring and ability to support incidents/issues.
  • Basics in OS concepts of Windows/Linux/Unix Systems administration.
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
