Senior Research Fellow: Power Electronics Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to contribute to our research on power electronics for renewable energy systems.

Job Description:

As a Senior Research Fellow, you will be responsible for designing and developing topologies and control strategies for DC/DC, DC/AC, and AC/DC power converters. Your expertise in power electronics analysis, simulation, and experimental validation will be essential in advancing power conversion solutions for renewable energy systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop innovative topologies and control strategies for power converters.
  • Conduct in-depth simulations, experiments, and analysis to optimize power conversion solutions.
  • Evaluate the compliance of existing or proposed converter solutions with grid codes and standards.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and publications to disseminate research outcomes.
  • Contribute to research proposals and project deliverables.
  • Support laboratory activities, including equipment maintenance, procurement, and administrative tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, with a strong academic and publication track record. Solid expertise in power electronics analysis, simulation, and experimental validation is also required.
