Electronics Engineer - Power Systems Specialist

We are seeking highly skilled Electronics Engineers to design, develop, and test power electronic systems and components. The ideal candidate will have expertise in power conversion technologies, circuit design, and system integration for applications such as AI data center server power supply, renewable energy systems, or industrial automation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing power electronic converters including AC/DC, DC/DC converters. They will perform calculations, simulations, and modeling using tools such as LTspice, PSIM, Mathcad, and so on.

Additionally, they will select and evaluate power components such as Si/SiC/GaN MOSFETs, IGBTs, capacitors, resistors, magnetics, and so on. They will develop control algorithms for power converters and implement them on embedded platforms.

The selected candidate will conduct thermal and EMI/EMC tests and analysis and ensure compliance with relevant standards. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and mechanical engineers.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, specialized in Power Electronics, with 2-5 years' experience in the same industry.
  • Strong understanding of power electronics theory and applications.
  • Proficiency in circuit design and simulation tools.
  • Experience with embedded systems and digital control of power converters.
  • Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards (UL, IEC, ISO, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with Open Compute Project (OCP) standards.
  • Hands-on experience with GaN/SiC devices and advanced magnetics design.
  • Hands-on experience with PCB layout and thermal management.
  • Proficiency with Python scripts.
