Senior Power Electronics Engineer

We are seeking skilled and innovative power electronics engineers to design, develop, and test advanced power electronic systems and components. The ideal candidate will have experience in power conversion technologies, circuit design, and system integration for applications such as AI data center server power supply, renewable energy systems, or industrial automation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Design and develop high-performance power electronic converters including AC/DC, DC/DC, with expertise in Totem-pole PFC, T-type, Vienna Rectifier, LLC, Buck, Boost, SR, Flyback topologies.
  • Circuit Analysis and Simulation: Perform calculations, simulations, and modeling using tools like LTspice, PSIM, Mathcad, and others to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Component Selection and Evaluation: Select and evaluate power components such as Si/SiC/GaN MOSFETs, IGBTs, capacitors, resistors, magnetics, and other critical components.
  • Control Algorithm Implementation: Develop and implement control algorithms for power converters on embedded platforms, ensuring robust and efficient operation.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct thermal and EMI/EMC testing and analysis, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, firmware, and mechanical engineers, to deliver high-quality power electronic systems.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, with a specialization in Power Electronics and 5-8 years of experience in the field.
  • Power Electronics Expertise: Strong understanding of power electronics theory and applications, including circuit design and simulation.
  • Embedded Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in embedded systems and digital control of power converters, with hands-on experience in programming languages like Python.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards (UL, IEC, ISO, etc.).
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • Open Compute Project (OCP) Standards: Familiarity with OCP standards and best practices.
  • GaN/SiC Devices and Advanced Magnetics: Hands-on experience with GaN/SiC devices and advanced magnetics design.
  • PCB Layout and Thermal Management: Hands-on experience with PCB layout and thermal management techniques.
  • Python Scripting: Proficiency in Python scripting and automation.
