Job Description:

The role of a Mortuary Operations Coordinator is to oversee the smooth functioning of the mortuary. This includes managing administrative duties, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing paperwork related to funeral services and permits
  • Maintaining accurate records for collection of deceased patients and body parts by next-of-kin (NOK)
  • Acting as primary point of contact for NOK and collaborating with funeral support services to ensure dignified and compassionate arrangements

Additionally, the coordinator will work with various functions to manage and review feedback/incidents, ensuring corrective action and necessary follow-up.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A diploma in any discipline
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word and Excel
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
