Job Title:
Health, Safety, and Environmental ProfessionalRole Overview

This position involves supporting the management of health, safety, and environmental projects. The individual will work closely with stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for managing these projects effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a Safety Management System that includes tasks related to manuals and fleet notices.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence.
  • Enhance Cyber Security of Vessel ICT systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to follow up on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) issues.
  • Support Construction and maintenance of companies' HSEQ module in PAL.
  • Monitor and analyze Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Review and analysis of HSEQ scores, fleet audit and inspection outcomes through PAL, and advise Managers on measures to improve fleet performance.
  • Assist with HSEQ and Certification processes, and day-to-day crewing issues.
  • Support GM for collaboration with various stakeholders to plan for future deployments and unification efforts.
  • Implement a Mobile App project for LG (Liquefied Gas) and Tanker operations.
Requirements

The ideal candidate must have Deck Class 1 Certificate of Competency and at least 10 years of shore experience in a Major ship management company or Oil Major.

Skills

The successful candidate should possess good knowledge of ISM, ISPS, MLC, TMSA, SIRE, and ISO standards. Proficiency in IT tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools is required.
