Occupational Health and Safety Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) specialist to lead our HSE initiatives. As an OHS Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of employees and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and codes of practice across all staff.
- Identify gaps in WSH/Environmental systems, procedures, and performance, and recommend improvements.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Registered WSHO with the Ministry of Manpower
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
- Well-versed in regulatory requirements pertaining to Workplace Safety, Health, and Environment (WSH & ENV)
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to creating a safe and healthy work environment. You will lead safety meetings, briefings, and training sessions for stakeholders, collaborate closely with the project team to uphold high safety standards, and maintain accurate records and reports on site safety, health, and environment.
You will have the chance to develop and implement safety programs, conduct site safety audits, inspections, and compliance checks, review risk assessments and risk management processes, and prepare and present detailed analytical reports on WSH performance, conditions, and practices.
