  Job Title: Senior Mechanical Equipment Designer

This role requires a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Equipment Designer with expertise in designing and developing mechanical rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical rotating equipment, including compressors, pumps, and turbines
  • Prepare technical specifications, material specifications, and requisitions
  • Develop scopes of work, invitations to bid, RFQs, and evaluations
  • Compile technical and commercial bid evaluations (TBE & CBE)
  • Attend and witness equipment performance tests during factory acceptance tests and site acceptance tests
  • Review vendor documents and evaluate proposals
  • Conduct site surveys and prepare reports
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for design reviews
  • Review EPC construction specifications, detailed design calculations, and drawings

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university
  • At least 10 years of experience in conceptual, FEED, and detailed engineering of mechanical rotating equipment
  • Familiarity with relevant industrial codes, including ASME B&PV, API, ANSI, and ISO
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
