Job Title

Community Outreach Specialist, Targeted Segment (1 Year Contract)

Job Description

Objective: To support the Board's goals by working closely with the community, healthcare partners and social service agencies to co-create regional and community-focused solutions, ensuring good coverage and sustainable delivery of health promotion initiatives within the community.

Scope Of Work: Partnership & Outreach Events Management, Collaboration with key partners to co-develop and implement targeted outreach events to segment groups, Incorporating HPB health promotion content and key messages resonating for the targeted segment, Developing and adapting health-related materials and engagement resources for collaborating stakeholders, Coordinating operational support to internal and external stakeholders during event implementation, Designing a systematic approach to partnership and relationship management, Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to deepen partnerships.

Key Initiatives: Active Ageing, Physical Activity, Nutrition, Substance Abuse and Mental Health, Covering the general population and targeted segments such as ethnic communities and underprivileged groups.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant working experience for at least 2 years
  • Good understanding of partnership development and relationship management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Able to work independently and with teams
  • Prior experience in the healthcare sector or social service workspace will be an advantage
