Beverage Formulation Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Beverage Formulation Expert to develop and formulate beverage prototypes. In this hands-on role, you will play a key part in creating new products, primarily acidified drinks, protein beverages, neutral drinks, teas, and juices.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and formulate beverage prototypes using various flavors and ingredients to suit customer specifications and market demands
  • Conduct hands-on lab work to prepare and test finished product prototypes, ensuring the highest quality and consistency in all formulations
  • Provide application and technical support to customers, ensuring their needs are met and product formulations meet the highest standards
  • Work closely with customers to understand their unique requirements, offering technical expertise in beverage formulation and application to deliver tailored solutions
  • Conduct and coordinate internal product evaluation sessions, collaborating with teams to refine and improve prototypes based on feedback and test results
  • Contribute to the development of innovative beverage product concepts, ensuring alignment with customer goals and market trends
  • Maintain the necessary raw material inventory to readily develop fast-tracked projects and prototypes for customers

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in flavor application and formulation in beverage product development is required
  • Experience in dairy applications and pilot plant operations would be advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of beverage production processes, with experience in production or industry settings
  • Competency in basic laboratory skills and proficiency in PC software applications
  • Proven hands-on experience in beverage formulation and product development
  • Experience in project management and team leadership is required, with the ability to oversee multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
