Job Title: Senior Data Insights Strategist

Lead a high-performing team of data scientists and analysts to drive business growth through data-driven decision-making.

We are seeking an accomplished Data Strategist to spearhead our data science initiatives. This role combines deep technical expertise with people leadership to solve complex business challenges and improve decision-making processes.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Gather and preprocess large datasets from various sources, ensuring their quality and reliability through cleaning and validation processes.
  • Analyze complex datasets using statistical methods and machine learning techniques to identify trends, patterns, and relationships that inform business strategies.
  • Design, implement, and refine predictive models and algorithms to address specific business challenges and improve decision-making processes.
  • Create visualizations and reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders, presenting complex data in an understandable manner.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business analysts, to integrate data-driven solutions into existing workflows.
  • Monitor the performance of models post-deployment, conducting regular evaluations and adjustments as necessary to maintain accuracy.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and industry trends to apply innovative techniques in projects.
  • Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Requirements:
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; Master's preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in data science or analytics, with at least 1-2 years in a team lead or people management role.
  • Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
  • Proven ability to deliver end-to-end solutions, from problem framing to production deployment.
  • Personal Qualities:
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a track record of developing team capabilities and fostering collaboration.
