Job Title: Data Insights Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Insights Strategist to lead our analytics team in developing advanced solutions that support strategic decisions and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead agile teams in developing data-driven insights to address complex business problems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define use cases and deliver fit-for-purpose analytics solutions, build data pipelines, and implement scalable solutions in production.
  • Create custom reports by integrating data from various systems, utilizing cloud-native tools for analytics development, and delivering insights via powerful visualization tools.
  • Maintain and provide operational support for the enterprise data and analytics infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the Analytics Centre of Excellence (COE), mentor peers, promote best practices, and drive adoption of advanced analytics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in developing advanced analytics or data science solutions to address business problems.
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, proficient with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, experience with modern data stack technologies like Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory.
  • Skilled in identifying business needs and translating them into actionable data solutions, ability to articulate model outputs, business impact, and drive solution adoption, experienced in gathering user requirements and collaborating with tech teams to resolve user pain points.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
