Job Overview

As a Corporate Growth Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in engaging with senior executives and securing new corporate partnerships by aligning our information services with their business goals and strategic priorities.

Your focus will be on one of our premier Intelligence Centres throughout the APAC region. This position is primarily phone-based, complemented by occasional in-person meetings. You will have the opportunity to significantly influence how organizations expand and enhance their operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough research to gain insights into the relevant Consumer Goods sectors, utilizing all available resources to understand clients, their offerings, and their competitive landscape.
  • Engage with C-level leaders and their teams across APAC to effectively communicate the GlobalData value proposition over the phone.
  • Facilitate Zoom demonstrations with potential clients to highlight the capabilities of the GlobalData Consumer platform.
  • Stay informed about current news, trends, and topics pertinent to the relevant industries to maintain a comprehensive understanding of ongoing developments and challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records within the company's CRM system and other relevant platforms to ensure effective management of client information.
  • Collaborate with Product Development to maximize the impact of product enhancements and modifications.
  • Uphold the integrity of the product by presenting offerings in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
  • Engage in training and development programs.
  • Identify personal development needs and collaborate with HR and senior management to establish suitable development plans.
  • Ensure that all revenue targets (both personal and company-wide) are consistently achieved, and proactively address any challenges with appropriate action plans.
Qualifications
  • A degree or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of substantial B2B sales experience across various products and industry sectors (Consumer – Beverages, Food, Foodservice).
  • A proactive approach with a strong desire to build a career in the business intelligence sector.
  • Experience in exhibition and face-to-face sales.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Clear and effective communicator.
  • Demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and driven.
