Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Payment Operations Senior Specialist to join our APAC Payment Operations Regional team in Singapore. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting Payment Operations for currencies in the APAC Region, ensuring the efficient and secure execution of operational tasks and the operationalisation of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain consistent and high-level execution of recurring tasks and responsibilities within the designated domain.
  • Investigate, solve, and escalate any issues connected to respective domain in a timely manner.
  • Act as the first-level escalation point on cases and crisis levels within own domain, handling incidents in your area of expertise.
  • Support stakeholders in solving complex problems related to their area of ownership and ensure timely and relevant communication.
  • Drive product and process improvement in your domain in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate product and processes-related risk assessment and mitigation initiatives.
  • Support or own training and mentoring responsibilities of new and existing specialists.

  • Work Globally: You'll collaborate with internal and external partners, helping to figure out ways to make our customers' lives better, working closely with teams from Tampa to Tokyo.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written English skills, with a JLPT N1 certification.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, with a willingness to own work and take charge on projects when needed.
  • Ability to drive initiatives and coordinate and manage projects.
  • Experience in contributing to operational or cross-functional projects that drive efficiency and scaling of manual work.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and the ability to apply them in your work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to deep-dive on technical understandings to continuously improve processes.
  • Basic Excel and Looker skills, with an analytical mindset and the ability to build a narrative from data to influence decisions.
  • Clear and honest communication, with the ability to persuade and adapt to different audiences.
  • Comfortable with feedback and being part of a team where ideas are shared and openness is valued.
  • Proactive and a great relationship builder, experienced at working closely with external partners and product and engineering development teams.
