Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Engineer to join our team at 3160 KLA-Tencor (Singapore). As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform field service activities associated with troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repairing complex equipment at customer wafer fab facilities.
  • Resolve installation and upgrading problems, and coordinate equipment schedules to minimize system downtime.
  • Conduct customer orientation and technical training on all aspects of equipment maintenance support for user applications.
  • Prepare field service reports on customer support activity and provide documentation to other supporting functions on recurring problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to understand customer needs.
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative.
  • Willingness to work overtime and travel at short notice, with compensation for overtime work and a transport allowance.
