Job Title: Expert Flooring Specialist

Description:

  • You will be responsible for cleaning, levelling and waterproofing surfaces, as well as removing old grout and cement to prepare them for tiling.
  • Using hand and power tools, you will cut tiles to fit around obstacles and into tight spaces, ensuring a precise fit every time.
  • You will form tile beds using concrete, plaster, cement, glue or mortar to create a solid foundation for your work.
  • Laying and grouting tiles evenly and cleanly, you will create a seamless finish that enhances the overall aesthetic of a space.
  • Tapping tiles into place with precision and care, you will adhere them securely to the base, ensuring a durable and long-lasting finish.
  • Working with granite and marble, you will polish and surface these materials to bring out their natural beauty and enhance their appearance.
  • Using mosaic tiles, you will create decorative wall and floor designs that add visual interest and personality to a space.
  • Collaborating with other professionals, you will consult with project managers and clients to ensure a cohesive and successful outcome.
  • Responsible for sourcing and ordering materials and parts, you will ensure that all necessary items are available when needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require strong technical skills, including proficiency in tile laying, cutting and shaping, as well as experience working with various types of flooring materials.
