Job Description:
  • Cleaning, levelling and waterproofing surfaces requires precision and attention to detail. As a senior wall and floor specialist, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for tiling by removing old grout and cement.
  • Cutting and shaping tiles is a crucial aspect of this role. You will use hand and power tools to cut tiles to fit around obstacles and into tight spaces, ensuring a precise fit every time.
  • Forming tile beds using concrete, plaster, cement, glue or mortar is an essential skill required for this position. You will create a solid foundation for your work using a range of tools, including screeds, brushes and trowels.
  • Laying and grouting tiles evenly and cleanly is critical to creating a seamless finish. With attention to detail and a focus on quality, you will adhere tiles securely to the base, ensuring a durable and long-lasting finish.
  • Tapping tiles into place with precision and care is a key part of this role. You will ensure that tiles are properly aligned and levelled, providing a strong foundation for your work.
