Drive Lending Transformation

We seek a senior professional to spearhead corporate lending transformation within a large-scale banking initiative.

This role is pivotal in designing and implementing future-state lending landscapes for bilateral, syndicated, and structured lending, as well as trade finance.

The ideal candidate will blend domain expertise in corporate lending with hands-on system proficiency, ensuring seamless business requirements translation into scalable, compliant, and efficient solutions.

  • Domain & Process Leadership:
  • Lead the functional design of end-to-end corporate lending processes (origination, servicing, syndication, collateral management) within core banking systems.
  • Ensure alignment with risk, regulatory, and business policies (e.g., credit approval, covenant monitoring).
  • Define target operating models and process improvements for lending operations.
  • Solution Design & Core Banking Configuration:
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and core banking configurations.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current processes and core banking capabilities.
  • Collaborate with IT, vendors, and integration teams to validate solutions and manage dependencies (e.g., general ledger, risk systems, digital channels).
  • Program Coordination:
  • Act as the functional workstream lead, coordinating across business, IT, and vendor teams.
  • Track deliverables, issues, and dependencies to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support program governance with updates, risk mitigation, and steering committee materials.
  • Align with parallel streams (data migration, testing, integration).
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Partner with stakeholders in corporate banking, risk, compliance, operations, and finance.
  • Facilitate workshops and decision forums to resolve cross-functional challenges.
  • Serve as the trusted SME on core banking and lending transformation.
  • Testing & Implementation:
  • Oversee UAT planning and execution for lending functionalities.
  • Support data migration, reconciliation, and cutover activities for lending portfolios.
  • Ensure post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvement.
  • Qualifications & Experience:
  • Mandatory:
  • 10+ years in corporate banking, with expertise in bilateral/syndicated lending and trade finance.
  • Hands-on core banking experience (configuration, implementation, or functional support).
  • 10+ years in core banking/lending transformation programs (system migration/implementation).
  • Deep knowledge of lending lifecycle processes: credit origination, covenant monitoring, collateral management.
  • Proven program coordination skills in multi-vendor, multi-country environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (up to C-level).
  • Preferred:
  • Experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies and program governance tools.
  • Familiarity with integration patterns and surrounding systems.
  • Certification in core banking or related corporate lending solutions.
