Product Development Specialist

Innovate the parenting experience with award-winning innovations tailored for mothers and their little ones. Empower mothers in their breastfeeding journey and ease the transition into parenthood through meaningful products and services.

The Role:

Drive commercial and brand success by developing a strategic influence in adoption and sales across local retailers. As a customer-savvy and service-oriented Product Development Specialist, you will contribute to business growth and market share.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of product features and technical specifications.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for clients and internal teams.
  • Provide feedback on customer needs and market trends.
  • Be the subject matter expert for customers in stores and establish meaningful touchpoints with clients.
  • Proactively promote Hegen's brand and demonstrate the use of Hegen products to end consumers.
  • Develop sales pitches, monitor industry trends, and perform basic reporting.
  • Provide insight and recommendations to improve product positioning.
  • Support trade events and in-store activation when required.

Requirements:

  • Experience dealing with retailers and/or consumers in a retail or consumer goods company.
  • Proficiency in at least 2 languages is mandatory.
  • Pleasant personality and enjoy serving customers.
  • Retail sales and/or customer service experience will be advantageous.
  • Able to commit to a 5-day work week, including some weekends where required.
