Job Title: IT Service Management Support Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Management Support Specialist to oversee support services for GIS customers. The ideal candidate will have expertise in service management processes and procedures, as well as strong analytical skills to identify trends and develop plans to improve or change technology.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex problems and outages, configuring IT technology, and executing changes while following standard operating procedures and change/release management policies.

Additionally, the IT Service Management Support Specialist will work with vendors and management to develop plans for the life cycle of products, ensure that services/products meet customer needs, and initiate training, documentation, and marketing to improve the full value of services/products.

This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to negotiate with others to adopt a different point of view.
