  • We seek a highly skilled Category Professional to develop and implement strategies that drive cost optimisation, manage supply risk, and enhance supplier relationships.
  • Key responsibilities include conducting market analyses, performing spend and supplier base evaluations, and collaborating with stakeholders to identify sourcing opportunities.
  • The successful candidate will also lead sourcing activities, negotiate contracts, and work closely with legal teams to ensure smooth contracting processes.
  • Additionally, they will monitor and manage suppliers' performance, lead business reviews, and foster strong relationships with key suppliers.

 

Requirements for Success
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Experience in data centres, mechanical and electrical fields, or facilities management is essential.
  • Relevant experience in procurement and category management is necessary.
  • Technical knowledge in the M&E field is required.
  • Experience in negotiations and contracting is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently are crucial.
