Civil & Structural Design Director Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our design team in delivering high-quality projects. As a key member of the management team, you will oversee the technical aspects of our projects and ensure they meet the highest standards.

 

Job Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Manage site supervision teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical advice and solutions to project teams.
  • Design Quality: Carry out design checks and calculations to maintain work quality at expected standards.
  • BIM Coordination: Participate in BIM coordination with the assistance of the BIM team.
  • Review and Approval: Review technical specifications and design details.
  • Engineering Assessments: Conduct engineering assessments and prepare technical reports as necessary.
  • Site Inspections: Perform adhoc site inspections and technical reviews.
  • Design Clarifications: Respond to RFA/RFI and design clarifications.

 

Requirements:
  • Education: A degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in Building projects and/or Earth Retaining Structures within a consulting environment.
  • Skills: Strong engineering analysis and design skills and knowledge. Proficiency in common engineering design software and analytical tools.
  • Regulations and Processes: Familiarity with relevant regulations and submission processes.
  • Precast Concrete and Steel Works Design: Experience in precast concrete and steel works design.
  • Familiarity with Local Codes: Familiarity with local codes and knowledge of regional design codes.
