Assistant Manager, Front Office Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team at OASIA HOTEL NOVENA, SINGAPORE. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Front Office, ensuring exceptional guest service and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Direct, monitor, and supervise the activities of all sections within the Front Office, including reception, cashier, telephone, reservation, and baggage services.
- Guest Service: Ensure that guests are attended to with promptness, courtesy, and efficiency, and that guest complaints are handled with tact and diplomacy.
- Inventory Management: Monitor room inventory closely to ensure maximum utilization of rooms and generate higher revenue.
- Security and Safety: Perform duties pertaining to security, including directing guests reporting incidents, thefts, or any offenses to the Security department for assistance.
- Cash Handling: Maintain cash float amounts in accordance with expected occupancy and authorize rate and room changes, paid outs, cash advances, and acceptance of cheques according to procedures and credit policies.
- Education: Diploma in any field, preferably in Hospitality.
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience in a similar capacity in the hospitality industry.
- Skills: Team player with positive attitude, enthusiasm, and initiative; knowledge of Opera System; ability to lead a team and drive results.
