Job Title: Immigration Services Specialist

Job Description:

  • Meet with prospective and existing clients to assess their immigration requirements.
  • Communicate with clients and understand their immigration needs.
  • Provide consultation and guidance in assisting clients to achieve their visa application objectives.
  • Be the subject matter expert in global immigration policies, including Singapore, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United States, Japan, Hong Kong, Europe, Malaysia, etc.
  • Provide in-depth counsel and analysis of global immigration laws.
  • Develop strategies in the immigration space to assist clients.
  • Lead and partner with stakeholders such as HR, legal, clients, and external vendors.
  • Ensure high-quality immigration services by leveraging both experience and in-depth knowledge.
  • Develop presentation materials and conduct seminars on immigration topics.
  • Have extensive knowledge of global immigration, different visa/permit types, and case assessment.
  • Able to influence different levels of leadership through transparent and well-articulated analysis.
  • Keep up to date with alterations to immigration laws and regulations.
  • Research for information regarding immigration matters.
  • Manage immigration cases from initiation to completion ensuring complete client satisfaction.
  • Keep clients informed about their immigration status and communicate any foreseeable delays.
  • Attend to clients' queries and completion of formalities when applications are processing and being approved subsequently.
  • Meet with clients to collect documents when necessary.
  • Maintain a database with accurate client information and milestones, and update the library.
  • Perform other general administrative tasks, including reporting and data management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least a Diploma Holder or Bachelor's Degree Holder.
  • 2-3 years of relevant working experience preferred.
  • Target-driven and good communication skills.
  • Customer-oriented.
  • Ability to multitask in managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Ability to conduct independent research using various sources.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work on own initiative.
  • Ability to perform under stress.
  • Demonstrates confidentiality towards clients' information.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, proactivity, and maturity.
  • Recognizes and solves routine problems.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude, positive, and personable.
