
Senior Business Development Professional

Key responsibilities include:
- Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to maintain a large portfolio of potential accounts and achieve a high frequency of sales work.
- Research and Outreach: Utilize existing networks and research to gain business or interest from small, straightforward potential accounts in a delegated region or industry.
- Collaboration with Senior Colleagues: Assist senior-level colleagues with various aspects of the deal process to gain broad exposure, new relationships, and relevant experience.
- Market Intelligence: Maintain awareness of market occurrences, including important developments, trends, competitors' positioning, and the status of big and small business contracts, to identify potential business opportunities.
- Due Diligence and Marketing: Draft comprehensive due diligence reports and presentations containing fundamental qualitative and quantitative assessments in response to requests for proposal or to assist senior colleagues to gain business. Construct targeted standard marketing plans for business offerings and/or concepts directed at small, straightforward potential accounts and aspects of complex marketing plans for use by senior colleagues.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in business development/sales/client relationship management positions in the broking industry.
- A strong track record of success.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
