Job Title: Refinery Technical Sales Expert
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Refinery Technical Sales Expert to join our team. As a technical sales expert, you will be responsible for providing technical advice and solutions to refinery clients, understanding their explosion risk classification and operational requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for refinery clients, providing technical guidance and support.
- Lead site visits and inspections on Jurong Island, perform gap analyses around explosion protection and instrumentation needs.
- Prepare quotations and technical proposals, including spec sheets, hazardous area ratings, and certifications.
- Support project implementation, including order tracking, coordination with internal teams and subcontractors, verifying installation, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, enabling repeat sales and referrals.
- Stay current on industry standards (IECEx, ATEX, API, etc.) and competitor offerings.
- Document leads, proposals, progress, and outcomes in CRM for pipeline management.
Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Ability to travel to Jurong Island (own transport required).
- Strong communication, technical-writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with high ownership mentality and willingness to learn on the job.
