Refinery Sales Specialist

As a key sales representative in our specialist team, you will be providing ExProof electrical products and services to oil & gas refineries.

  • You will serve as the technical advisor and point of contact for refinery clients, understanding their explosion risk classification and operational requirements.
  • Lead site visits and inspections on Jurong Island, perform gap analyses around explosion protection and instrumentation needs.
  • Prepare quotations and technical proposals (spec sheets, hazardous area ratings, certifications).
  • Support project implementation: order tracking, coordination with internal teams and subcontractors, verifying installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, enabling repeat sales and referrals.
  • Stay current on industry standards (IECEx, ATEX, API, etc.) and competitor offerings.

Key Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering is required.
  • Ability to travel to Jurong Island is essential.
  • Strong communication, technical-writing, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • A self-starter with high ownership mentality and willingness to learn on the job is preferred.
