Residential Buildings Supervisor

  • Site activities are to be conducted in accordance with regulations and clients' requirements. This involves understanding project specifications and construction drawings.
  • Monitoring of site works is carried out to ensure that method statements and work procedures are strictly adhered to.
  • Structural works are supervised, with identification of non-conformity of contractors' site work being a key responsibility.
  • Ensuring that builders execute work in accordance with Consultant's instructions.
  • Drawings are checked for discrepancies, with solutions proposed to prevent delays.
  • Quality inspections and control of materials used in the project are undertaken.
  • Proper documentation of site inspection records, safety records, and approved/as-built drawings is maintained.
  • Update site records on progress, housekeeping, and prepare reports.
  • Verify contractors' progress payment, claim for work done and materials/equipment delivered and stored on site.
  • Witness inspection, testing, and commissioning sessions performed by contractors to ensure compliance with designs and specifications.
  • Report to project QP/Project Consultants Team on quality and progress.

Requirements:

  • Min Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in supervision of residential buildings.
  • Resident Technical Officer Certificate accredited by IES/ACES.
  • Conversant in statutory code and requirements.
  • Good team player with strong interpersonal and communications skills essential.
