Equipment Optimization Specialist


In this critical role, you will be responsible for enhancing equipment performance and driving continuous improvement in the manufacturing process. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Planning, scheduling, and implementing new tool installations, relocations, and chamber retrofits to optimize equipment performance
  • Developing and owning equipment maintenance procedures and schedules to ensure seamless operations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop, prioritize, and manage projects that improve availability, reduce defects, and find solutions to ongoing problems
  • Interacting with vendors to develop new hardware, software, and technologies related to process and hardware performance improvements
  • Writing and publishing reports that summarize equipment availability improvements and cost reduction projects
  • Ensuring Quality Management System (QMS) and business processes are effective and conform to requirements, delivering their intended outputs

To succeed in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering or Science, strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills, effective communication and collaboration skills, and a growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
