Job Description

The role of Manufacturing Engineer is pivotal in ensuring the quality, efficiency, and compliance of our products.

This position encompasses a wide scope of responsibilities, including supporting line validation, optimizing manufacturing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to guarantee product excellence.

Key areas of focus include the Legacy Catheter line, Extrusion, Braiding, and Shaft Coil line in Singapore, as well as the development and improvement of manufacturing processes across all regions of Quasar Singapore.

  • Conduct thorough audits and validations of manufacturing processes, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.
  • Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes for new products, product changes, and enhancements, including related tooling and fixtures.
  • Identify and troubleshoot process inefficiencies, refine designs for improved throughput, and develop novel assembly techniques.
  • Enhance manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Ensure product and process quality through rigorous testing, establishing standards, and confirming manufacturing processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field with 2-5 years' experience in high-volume production environments.
  • Strong communication skills, proficiency in DOE and statistical techniques, and knowledge of FDA, GMP, ISO, and Medical Device Directives.
  • Self-motivated individuals who can drive change and innovation, work effectively in fast-paced environments, and maintain a commitment to health and safety.
