Driving Operational Excellence in Manufacturing
The primary objective of this role is to drive improvement towards operational excellence by leveraging Lean and Six Sigma principles in the manufacturing site's processes. This involves building a continuous improvement mindset and culture within the site, and applying industrial engineering methodologies for facility and capacity planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop value stream maps to identify opportunities for improvement, and lead projects to implement changes.
• Work with stakeholders to build a continuous improvement culture, and provide training on Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Conduct process analysis and design improvements using methods such as time and motion studies, line balancing, and standard hours development.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 2 years experience in project management, preferably in the industry.
• Proficiency in software tools such as MS Office, and analytical software.
Skills:
• Lean and Six Sigma knowledge, including certification.
• Industrial engineering principles and practices.
• Project management experience, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and manage competing priorities.
