Job Title: Regional Governance Risk Leader

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Regional Governance Risk function. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of a comprehensive governance framework that ensures effective risk management and internal auditing across the Asia/Pacific region.

Main Responsibilities
  • Establish and support a Compliance Hub for the Asia/Pacific region, integrating both Internal Auditing/Risk Management and Compliance into a unified Governance Hub.
  • Serve as the primary contact in the Asia/Pacific region for topics related to Internal Auditing/Risk Management.
  • Develop annual audit plans, including project initiatives for the Governance department.
  • Implement the annual audit plan, particularly projects in Internal Auditing/Risk Management in the Asia/Pacific region.
  • Promote digitalization and innovation across EMEA/ America/Asia/Pacific regions in Internal Auditing and Risk Management.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Masters degree in business administration or a relevant field.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor, or equivalent is highly recommended.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in internal audit, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks, internal controls, and risk management principles.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
