Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned expert to spearhead our IT Governance and Risk Management strategy. As an integral member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust framework that addresses our IT risk landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the execution of our IT risk management program, fostering a proactive approach to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and manage IT risks, focusing on operational and strategic aspects.
- Implement and monitor effective risk controls and mitigation strategies, ensuring alignment with our organization's risk appetite.
- Conduct regular testing and monitoring of IT controls to guarantee their effectiveness and compliance.
- Identify control weaknesses and recommend corrective actions to enhance our control environment.
- Work closely with our first line of defense in managing and resolving incidents, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
- Track and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and control effectiveness metrics.
- Provide regular updates on IT governance, risk management, and KRIs to senior management as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, information security, or related certifications.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, or compliance.
- Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL), risk management methodologies, regulatory and legal requirements, and industry practice (ISO 27001, MAS TRM/TRMG, NIST framework, PS Act) will be advantageous.
- Demonstrated expertise in IT operations, with the ability to think strategically and drive results.
